High Temperature Test Hooks
Both the X100W mini-hook and XM micro-hook style connectors are available in high temperature test hook models. When environments or sterilization processes require products to withstand high temperatures, E-Z-Hook has existing options in our “standard” product offering.
The X100WX and XMX test hook versions are molded with mineral-reinforced nylon. These modified test hook styles have been tested to support high temperatures for extended periods at 250°F (122°C) and short cycles as high as 300°F (150°C). If testing environments require a higher temperature resistance, then the X100WXH extra high temperature test clip proves to support 300°F (150°C) for extended periods and 350°F (175°C) for short periods.
These three test hook connectors can be made into high temperature test leads by using our 300 series (24 AWG Teflon Wire). High Temp Mini-Hook
These high temperature version mini-hook connectors have a molded exterior body of mineral or glass-reinforced nylon. The one-piece gold-plated beryllium copper conductor or hook actuates with a stainless steel compression coil spring which provides approximately 12 ounces (340 grams) of contact pressure. This hook design fits over component leads up to 0.040 in (1.016 mm) in diameter. These materials make this part resistant to a wide variety of oils, solvents, and chemicals.
X100WX
The X100WX remains identical to the standard mini-hook model (X100W), except for they mineral-reinforced molded nylon body and plunger for maximum temperature of 300°F (150°C) over short time cycles whereas, over extended time periods, maximum temperature is 250°F (122°C). Available in 10 colors.
X100WXH
The X100WXH remains identical to the standard mini-hook model (X100W), except for the glass-reinforced molded nylon body and plunger for maximum temperature of 350°F (175°C) over short time cycles whereas, over extended time periods, maximum temperature is 300°F (150°C ). Available in black, white, and gray.

XMX
The XMX remains identical to the standard micro-hook model (XM), except for the mineral-reinforced molded nylon body and plunger for maximum temperature of 300°F (150°C) over short time cycles whereas, over extended time periods, maximum temperature is 250°F (122°C). Available in 10 colors.
The design of the XM micro-hook product line is for use where weight and leverage may damage components. It’s lightweight body (less than 1 gram) and hypo-action design easily allows for direct hook-up to delicate wires and components. Insulation to a single contact point assures accurate readings and the barrier on the tip prevents shorting between components.
